Cambridge, ON: Today, Collectivfide Insurance Group Inc. announced finalization of the acquisition of a majority stake in Dorchester, Ontario-based Dorchester Insurance Brokers Ltd. This transaction marks the sixth since inception for Collectivfide, formed in 2019 by a number of mutual insurance companies in Ontario and elsewhere in Canada.

On October 1, 2021, Collectivfide closed the acquisition of Brockville, Ontario-based W.C. Burgess Insurance Services Ltd. Additionally, on May 1, 2021, Collectivfide closed the acquisition of Barrie, Ontario-based R.K. Mooney Insurance Brokers Ltd. and on February 3, 2021, it closed the purchase of a majority stake in Owen Sound, Ontario-based TG Group Inc. The company previously closed acquisitions of dbi Brokers Ltd. and Doner-Horsley Insurance Brokers Ltd. in 2020.
