Industry Consulting Veteran, Sean Mulcair, joins Collectivfide as Chief Operating Officer

As a founder and Managing Partner of Gradient Solutions, Sean Mulcair has been consulting with brokers for over 20 years. His broad range of expertise has included providing services as a trusted advisor on operational performance, strategic planning, growth enablement, and leadership development for a substantial number of Canada’s top insurance brokers, carriers and software providers. Sean’s focus has been on building scalable operating models, developing high-performing teams and aligning strategy with execution to deliver sustainable growth.
Sean has been a repeat guest lecturer at numerous conventions on behalf of the insurance brokers’ associations of Ontario, Quebec, and Alberta. He has written a wide range of articles and eBooks for national magazines on subjects relating to sales strategy, efficiency, and customer experience.
When asked about leaving his established consulting business to join Collectivfide, Sean stated, "After working closely with Collectivfide throughout 2025, joining as COO felt like the natural next step. Over the decades, Sean has lectured at McGill University in the Risk Management department, early in his careers, he was appointed Quebec's Best Practices Champion by the Insurance Brokers Association of Canada (IBAC). In recent years, Sean has focused on the role of “COO for hire”, and in one mandate, partnered with a brokerage to lead a complete sales and operations transformation that grew the business consistently and oversaw the acquisition and merger of several transactions in both the P&C and financial services sectors.
