Cambridge, ON: Today, Collectivfide Insurance Group Inc. announced finalization of the acquisition of a majority stake in Brockville, Ontario-based W.C. Burgess Insurance Services Ltd. This transaction marks the fifth for Collectivfide, formed in 2019 by a number of mutual insurance companies in Ontario and elsewhere in Canada.

On May 1, 2021, Collectivfide closed the acquisition of Barrie, Ontario-based R.K. Mooney Insurance Brokers Ltd. and on February 3, 2021, it closed the purchase of a majority stake in Owen Sound, Ontario-based TG Group Inc. On September 23, 2020 the company closed the acquisition of a majority stake in Ayr, Ontario-based dbi Brokers Ltd. and on June 1, 2020 Collectivfide closed the purchase of a majority stake in Alliston, Ontario-based Doner-Horsley Insurance Brokers Ltd.
